With its classical Georgian architecture and world-class galleries, the city of Bath is a marvellous location in which to study art and architecture. Alongside seminar classes in art and architectural history, ASE offers numerous art-related internships, including a placement with a leading architectural practice in the field of historic building preservation, and at a range of prestigious museums and galleries. Students with an interest in studio art, especially painting, drawing or printmaking, should also consider our Fine Art tutorial.

This course provides a fascinating introduction to avant garde British art of the past few decades, and the contemporary art scene, through the lens of some leading art practitioners, theorists and critics.
44AD artspace welcomes all sectors of the community and works to support emerging contemporary artists and their work, whilst encouraging the public’s engagement with the visual arts.
