Students can choose to study political, economic, social or cultural history from the Iron Age through to the present day. Options could include a chronological study of a specific period, or closely focused topics on a particular theme.

Examples: Black British History, The Wars of the Roses, The English Reformation, The Role of Women in World War I, The Industrial Revolution, Medieval Arms and Armour.
